First prong, to implement and manage Spanish language programming and events for Jack London State Historic Park to help increase access for Spanish speaking populations.
The responsibilities include outreach to Latino organizations and creating and conducting regular monthly Spanish language events that focus on experiential learning, social gatherings, and outdoor recreation.
Second prong, to assist and support the Education Manager with the implementation of school field trip programming during the fall and spring seasons.
This position requires a candidate who has experience in guest services, program coordination, working with youth, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
A valid drivers license and vehicle is required.
Jack London Park Partners is a non-profit organization that took over operating Jack London State Historic Park in 2012 when the state was going to close the park due to budgetary constraints.
The small staff of 10, along with 250 volunteers is committed to protecting the historic and natural character of the Park while creating inclusive opportunities for education, recreation, discovery, and enjoyment for all visitors.
