BR Cohn Winery has been making small lot, vineyard designated wines since 1984.
Nestled between Sonoma Mountain and the Mayacamas Mountain range, the winery offers an inviting, relaxing environment for discovering new wines.
We are seeking an out-going, magnetic and approachable individual we can add to our team who is passionate about customer service, sales and building relationships.
Wine knowledge is preferred but not required.
Professionals with bartending and/or restaurant experience are highly desirable.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Greet all visitors and pour wines for tastingCreate a memorable experience for guestsSell wine and wine club memberships based on monthly goalDescribe wines and winery history; answer visitors' questions about winesProvide general tourist informationHandle routine sales transactions that include operating the register and accounting of daily salesAssist with display and stocking of retail items and winesAssist in maintaining cleanliness of facilitiesAssist with special events as neededRepresent winery at outside functions as neededAcquire and maintain thorough knowledge of winery and its winesUnderstand and properly process winery specific order requestsPrepare food for wine pairingsPerform other duties as assigned by Manager REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflowProficient on the computer (familiar with POS systems, Microsoft Office)Excellent customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentagesAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Qualifications:
Wine related experience helpful and knowledge of wines and wine productionTIPS and CA Food Handler Certifications preferred, but not requiredProfessional appearance and demeanorCommitment to excellence and high standardsEvidence of superior sales performance preferredMust share company values:
